As a Utility Surveyor, you will:
- Carry out surveys using Total Stations, GPS, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), and Electromagnetic Detection equipment.
- Accurately record underground utility data and manhole inspections.
- Produce detailed reports in line with PAS128 standards and internal guidelines.
- Work closely with Project Managers and CAD teams to ensure accurate deliverables.
- Support both field-based and office-based survey tasks.
- Maintain and manage survey equipment to a high standard.
- Support and mentor junior team members as required.
- Represent the company professionally while building positive client relationships on-site
To be considered for this Utility Surveyor you will have:
- At least 6 months of experience in PAS128 utility surveying or similar.
- CCTV/Drainage operatives with an interest in training into surveying will also be considered.
- Experience using GPR, Electromagnetic Location (EML), GPS/GNSS systems.
- Knowledge of industry standards (PAS128, TSA guidance).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Flexible and adaptable-able to prioritise in a fast-moving environment.
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
- Live in or near to Guildford and willing to travel.
