Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of students with complex needs
- Support the development of students communication, social, and life skills
- Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Assess and monitor individual student progress, adapting learning plans as necessary
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents to provide a holistic approach to education
- Implement behaviour and sensory strategies to support students engagement and development
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience working with children or young people with complex learning needs
- Strong knowledge of SEN strategies and teaching approaches
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A compassionate and patient approach, with a passion for supporting student development
