We are recruiting a Hotel Sales Manager for a 3/4-star hotel near Reading, catering for the busy M4 business corridor area. We require a skilled and experienced professional with a strategic mindset, able to target and grow the hotel s hospitality business, which includes meeting and conference facilities and conference and Banqueting facilities for 180 pax.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive strategic sales plans
• Manage a portfolio of accounts, fostering strong client relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
• Identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
• Conduct client meetings to understand requirements and ensure seamless service provision.
• Negotiate contracts and packages to optimize profitability.
• Prepare sales reporting.
• Collaborate closely with departments to ensure service excellence and client satisfaction.
• Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to expand networks and generate new business opportunities.

Skills:

• Proven experience as a Hotel Sales Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of hospitality market trends.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

Salary: £37k to £40k

Position Type: Full-time (40 hours per week).
