360 Operator-Civil Engineering

SLH Consult are partnering our client a medium sized Civil Engineering contractor with a ongoing order book spanning into 2026, they are looking to appoint a freelance 360 operator to work within an existing groundworks team on an ongoing basis and you will be required to travel across the UK from project to project with the next project being within Essex/homecounties.

You will be working various projects from new build housing, commercial, retaining walls etc

The successful candidate will require a minimum of 5 years experience operating 360,ideally with GPS experience within the Civil Engineering sector and will ideally possess the following license:

CPCS-Competent Operator:

• A12-Excavator 180 above 5 tonnes
• A10- Excavator-180 below 5 tonnes
• A59A-Excavator-360 above 10 tonnes-Tracked
• A59B-Excavator-360 above 10 tonnes-Wheeled
• A58A-Excavator-360 below 10 tonnes-Tracked
• A58B-Excavator-360 below 10 tonnes-Wheeled
• A59C-Excavator-360 above 10 tonnes-Lifting Operations
• A58C-Excavator-360 below 10 tonnes-Lifting Operations

The successful candidate will be working on an ongoing basis, with a competitive hourly rate, with accommodation/Digs allowance when required to work away.
