Estimator

We are looking for a Fa ade Estimator to join a client in the London and Essex offices. The Fa ade Estimator is needed to join the commercial team and working closely with the commercial director.

As a Fa ade Estimator, with knowledge in the fa ade, curtain walling and cladding sector, you will be making a move to a leading contractor promising growth and stability.

The Fa ade Estimator:

Numerical Proficiency.

Pre-handover budget compiling and guided value engineering.

Post-handover budget inputting onto Project Probe.

Ensure all assigned opportunities and tenders are tracked and chased and results noted, including conversion to next stage, or closure.

Update subcontractor, supplier and client information on Project Probe, as necessary.

Attend estimating meetings as required.

Knowledge of curtain walling, cladding, glazing, and other facade systems

Experience in drawing takeoffs

Experience in building up costs on a Labour/Plant/Material basis

Analytical, able to apply attention to detail and desire to provide high-quality work.

Have a confident, ambitious manner and able to liaise with clients professionally.

Excellent IT skills and an advanced user of MS Excel.
