Diamond Search Recruitment are delighted to be representing our client, an exciting and fast paced agency, who are recruiting for an Account Director. Join a highly successful team and be the lead to the account managers whom you will be strategically supporting and managing. The role is a permanent opportunity, with offices based in Folkestone, Kent. This position offers hybrid working, requiring either 2/3 days in the office.

The role - As Account Director, you will be a strategist, a powerful relationship manager and an effective project manager. You lead, develop and understand digital strategies for clients, and ensure they are delivered to an exceptional standard by working effectively with all teams in the department. You are also capable of communicating Search (SEO/PPC/Content) related material to a high level. You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients' accounts across multiple industries. You'll be responsible for a team of Strategic Account Managers.

The Account Director will be required to do the following:

• Lead the strategy for a portfolio of clients across diverse industries, translating business goals into actionable digital marketing strategies using the SOSTAC model.
• Be accountable for meeting and exceeding external KPI targets while overseeing the performance of your client accounts and team.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining excellent communication and fostering long-term relationships.
• Oversee and mentor a team of Strategic Account Managers, ensuring their personal and professional development.
• Manage internal processes, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of client work in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Be hands-on in client meetings, business reviews, and strategy development, ensuring clients receive exceptional service and measurable outcomes.

The successful Account Director should ideally be able to demonstrate the following:

• Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, and content marketing strategies, with the ability to communicate these at a high level
• Analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights
• Google Analytics & Google Ads certified
• A track record of building and sustaining long-term client relationships
• Proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, AWR, Google Search Console and SEMRush
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills

The Account Director will be rewarded with a salary of £43-48,000 depending on experience, plus excellent company benefits.
