Hyde is looking to recruit a Group Audit Accountant.

Hyde group owns and manages around 120,000 homes, making us one of the largest and most diverse housing and community services providers in the country. As an Audit Accountant, you ll play a key role in our experienced Financial Control team. Your expertise will ensure accurate financial reporting, robust financial controls, and a seamless audit process for Hyde and its associated companies. We re seeking an ambitious ACA-qualified accountant looking for their first move into industry, with strong communication and technical skills, as well as an ability to learn quickly and develop, in an exciting group.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver statutory financial statements for Hyde Group and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with FRS 102 and statutory regulations.
  • Assist in the timely submission of statutory accounts.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Support financial analysis and internal reporting for senior management, aiding strategic decision-making.
  • Learn quickly about what we do and build a strong network in the group, at all levels.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong communication and teamworking skills
  • Proactive, self-starter, with an inquisitive mind
  • Strong knowledge of statutory accounting, audit processes, and accounting
  • Excellent investigative accounting skills and the ability to resolve complex issues.
  • Experience and understanding of audit processes and practice
