Support Worker

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Colchester. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with various needs, helping them to lead independent and fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities:

• Provide person-centred support to individuals in their daily activities
• Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
• Support individuals in accessing community activties and services
• Promote independence and well-being in a respectful and degnified manner
• Maintain accurate records and report any concerns to senior staff
• Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, amd other team members

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a support or care role is preffered
• A compassionate and empathetic nature
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• A valid UK driving license is desirable but not essential
• An enhanced DBS check
