Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Location: Colnbrook

Salary: £32,000 per annum (basic)

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 18:00 (1 hour unpaid lunch)

Overtime Rate: £15 per hour

Job Overview:

This role involves the receipt, handling, and dispatch of cargo, along with general warehouse responsibilities. The position requires a reliable and detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a team and adhere to industry and internal compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Unloading and loading of goods from vehicles

Physical receipt and system entry (WMS) of goods

Recording and documentation of deliveries

Identification and reporting of material damages or shortages

Accurate placement and labeling of goods in the warehouse

Preparing cargo for dispatch, ensuring correct documentation

Compliance with internal policies, procedures, and health & safety standards

Adherence to all relevant regulatory guidelines

Operation of X-ray scanning equipment (where applicable)

Ensuring all work meets GDP (Good Distribution Practice) guidelines

Qualifications and Skills:

Fluent in English (verbal and written communication)

Forklift license (where applicable)

X-ray operation training (where applicable)

GDP (Good Distribution Practice) training completed

Good communication and organisational skills

29 days annual leave including public holidays

Pro-rated for first year of service

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Must have the legal right to work in the UK

DBS Basic Check required (cost reimbursed)

Must provide 5 years of employment history, including clarification of any gaps

References required for verification of employment dates (no opinions solicited)
