HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) - Ongoing Work
Location: Canterbury, Kent
Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00 AM starts 10-12 hour shifts
Pay: £16.00 - £17.93 per hour (PAYE) - weekly pay, minimum 8 hours per day

Driver Hire Canterbury is looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our client based in Canterbury. This is a long-term, ongoing position with no weekend work, consistent hours, and the potential for a permanent role.

You'll be transporting steel products on a flatbed vehicle from Dover Docks to Canterbury, completing daily stock runs and securing loads using chains and straps.

What We Offer:

£16.00 - £17.93 per hour

Holiday pay - accrue it or have it rolled into your hourly rate

Minimum 8 hours paid daily, even on quieter days

Monday to Friday only - no weekends

Weekly pay - every Friday

What You'll Need:

Valid Category C+E (Class 1) licence, held for at least 2 years

Minimum 60 days of recent commercial Class 1 driving experience
