Airfreight Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Air Freight Coordinator to provide top-tier operational support for air freight customers, ensuring shipments are managed efficiently and cost-effectively, from initial booking through to final delivery, for our client based in London N1 area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily air freight export operations, with a focus on LATAM shipments.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with customers, suppliers, airlines, and overseas agents.
• Coordinate the timely collection and delivery of shipments, ensuring full compliance with regulations.
• Provide accurate, competitive quotes to customers and partner agents.
• Ensure all shipping and customs documentation is prepared and verified.
• Work closely with customs brokers to ensure smooth clearance for imports and exports.
• Proactively track shipments, addressing any delays or service issues as they arise.
• Maintain precise records within Cargo wise (training available).

• At least 4 years' experience in logistics operations within a UK freight forwarding company.
• Strong understanding of air freight operations, including UK suppliers and airline routings.
• Knowledge of UK customs clearance processes for both imports and exports.
• Excellent computer skills and ability to adapt to new systems quickly.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.

Desirable Skills:

• Proficiency in Portuguese and/or Spanish.
• Experience with Cargo wise software.
• Previous experience with LATAM trade lanes.
