Train Interior Standards Operative

We are currently seeking up to 10 motivated individuals to join our team as Train Interior Maintenance Operatives. This role supports the ongoing maintenance of the fleet. You will be responsible for ensuring the customer environment and the interior condition of our trains meet high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repairing and replacing window hoppers, rubbers, and seat shells
• Polishing and etching removal from glass and metal surfaces
• Repairing draught screens, interior panels, and damaged seat covers
• Cleaning and painting panels affected by graffiti
• Upkeep and repair of train toilets and driving cabs
• Replacing and repairing bins and bin brackets

About You:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the rail industry or other public transport environments (bus, coach, aircraft, etc.)
• Ability to demonstrate transferable mechanical skills
• Must pass a PTS Medical and Drug & Alcohol screening

No formal vocational qualifications are required, but practical skills are essential.
