Civils Engineer who has experience in civil construction, specifically in digging and excavation for telecommunications is required to join our team at SDU Telecoms, a leading telecoms infrastructure services company.

RATE: 320 - 420 per Day + Vehicle and Fuel Card + Benefits (see below)

LOCATION: London. We also have other locations throughout the UK

SDU Telecoms is currently expanding our field operations and seeking experienced Civils Digging Gangs to support our telecommunications infrastructure projects.

Working as a Civils Engineer within our digging team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality telecoms infrastructure projects.

As the Civils Engineer you'll be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of excavation and installation works, working with the team on-site. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a tangible impact on connectivity across the region.

DUTIES

Your duties as a Civils Engineer include:

• Execute digging and excavation operations as part of telecom infrastructure development

• Regularly perform quality checks on excavation and installation work to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Utilise a specialised app to prepare and submit detailed reports directly from the field, enhancing efficiency and accuracy

• Ensure all field activities comply with legal, health, and safety regulations

• Work closely with project managers and engineers to meet project deadlines and specifications

• Manage site preparation and restoration post-completion of digging activities

• Handle and maintain equipment necessary for all digging operations

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Must hold at least the below accreditations:

• • NRSWA
  • SA006
  • Q19
  • Q21

• Experience in civil construction, specifically in digging and excavation for telecommunications

• Strong understanding of safety protocols and ability to enforce them on-site

• Reliable and committed to high-quality workmanship

• Flexible availability for various project locations and schedules
