Service Charge Accountant

Service Charge Accountant - London. OUR CLIENT are a reputable, award-winning firm of Chartered Surveyors in London that provides specialised services in commercial and residential property. They have now appointed Trident solely to recruit a Service Charge Accountant who will be responsible for preparation, reconciliation, and close year-end service charge accounts for residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.

THE ROLE:

• Processing invoices efficiently and accurately.
• Collating documents and information required for the external accountants including leases, invoices and demands.
• Calculating service charge caps where applicable and checking against the lease.
• Preparing a uniform budget pack to be sent to tenants.
• Retrieving handover checklist items for service charge properties on new instructions from previous agents.
• Providing handover documents on lost management, such as production of supporting documents.
• Assisting with cash flow reporting to Surveyors where required.
• Running and reviewing quarterly service charge reports.
• Providing general administrative assistance where required.

THE PERSON: To apply for this role as an Assistant Service Charge Accountant you will:

• 3+ years of experience preparing year-end service charge accounts.
• Experience of using property management systems such as QUBE, TRAMPS, YARDI is essential.
