Job Title: GCSE Core Subject Tutor
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Contract Type: Temporary, Flexible, Part-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: 25- 30 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and structured lessons in GCSE Maths, English, and/or Science, focusing on key concepts, exam techniques, and effective study strategies.
• Develop and implement individualised lesson plans tailored to each student's learning needs and academic objectives.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback, encouraging students to build confidence and achieve their best results.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles, including providing effective support for SEN students where needed.
• Foster a positive, motivating and inclusive learning environment that inspires students to reach their full potential.

Requirements:

• Teaching qualification such as PGCE or QTS.
• Minimum 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience in GCSE Maths, English, and/or Science.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Have or be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.

Desired:

• Experience working with SEN students.
