About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to join a long standing client of ours. This is a pivotal role for a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record of success in sales, within Microsoft Modern Workplace. As a Player-Manager, you will be responsible for both leading a high-performing sales team and personally driving revenue growth through your own sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Act as a Player-Manager, balancing leadership responsibilities with hands-on sales activity.
  • Drive business growth by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives.
  • Build, refine, and optimise sales processes to improve efficiency and results.
  • Recruit, onboard, and scale the sales team, ensuring continuous professional development.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and product teams to align sales strategy.
  • Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights to refine sales approaches.
  • Monitor team performance, set targets, and implement action plans to ensure objectives are met.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior leadership.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong technical understanding and experience in Microsoft 365, Azure and general IT principles.
  • Vast experience with Microsoft vendors or service providers.
  • Experience as a Player-Manager, leading a team while actively selling.
  • Strong ability to drive sales processes and implement best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience growing and scaling high-performing sales teams.
  • Good knowledge of the contact centre industry.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
  • Data-driven approach to sales performance and forecasting.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
