Job Opportunity: Research Associate

Are you passionate about advancing antibody research? We're looking for a skilled Research Associate to join our dynamic team.

I have partnered with a UK-based virology company dedicated to providing instant and long-lasting immunity for vulnerable individuals at risk from viral infections. Our mission is achieved through expertise in virus evolution, AI/ML, and high throughput screening to develop potent, broad-spectrum monoclonal antibodies (mAbs).

About the Role: This position involves establishing and running high throughput antibody affinity screens for key programs. You will design experiments, run screens, and analyse data in a biotech setting. Working as part of a small, agile research team, you will deliver key data to select antibody candidates and prepare data packages for publication, patenting, and pre-clinical development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run high throughput antibody screening assays (e.g., SPR, ELISA, viral neutralisation).
• Design experiments, analyze data, and maintain accurate records.
• Contribute to data packages for publication, patenting, and pre-clinical development.
• Support day-to-day lab management (e.g., ordering, deliveries, equipment maintenance).

Absolute Musts:

• 1-2 years of experience in a biotech setting.
• Hands-on experience with monoclonal antibody assays and ELISAs.
• SPR experience is a plus.
• MSc in virology, immunology, molecular biology, or a related field.
• Must be based in London.
