We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our reputable secondary school in Redbridge as a full-time Music Teacher, focusing on Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 students. This position is available to start as soon as possible.

Position: Music Teacher Location: Southwark, London Key Stages: 3-5 Start Date: ASAP, Full-time supply and Permanent September 2025

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and creative music lessons for Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 students.
• Inspire students to develop their musical abilities, creativity, and appreciation for music.
• Teach a range of musical skills and topics, including performance, composition, and music theory.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and enjoyment of music.
• Prepare students for performances, assessments, and examinations as required.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in Music or a related subject.
• Proven experience teaching Music at Key Stage 3- 5 level.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for music education.
• Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
