CNC Miller/Operator - Permanent

ABOUT THE JOB:

Our client is actively seeking a skilled CNC Miller/Operator to join their manufacturing team based in Camberley, Surrey. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines, primarily Haas and Matsuura models. You will utilise software such as OneCNC and Edgecam, either online or offline, to produce parts straight from technical drawings while adhering to ISO 9001:2015 quality standards. The role demands a proactive approach to optimise machine performance, ensure smooth production processes, and maintain precise manufacturing standards. The position offers a collaborative environment focused on quality and efficiency, with clear expectations for adapting to different projects and maintaining a high level of technical competency.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Minimum of 3 years experience programming CNC milling machines, with proficiency in 3, 4, and 5 axis Fanuc control systems
• Experience programming using OneCNC and Edgecam software, both online and offline
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in machining processes
• Ability to set up CNC machines for a variety of jobs and ensure they operate at optimal performance
• Good understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards
• Reliable and capable of working independently with a one-month notice period

In return, the role offers a competitive annual salary, standard working hours from 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, and 7:30am to 3pm on Fridays.
