A well-known further education college in London is looking for a SEND Teacher/Media Teacher to provide in-class support to students taking up Media courses. The college has a large provision for students, some who have just left secondary school and others who are taking vocational. Some students have Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND).
The Role
You will be responsible for teaching Media Studies across the college campus within the SEND department. As the sole Media specialist in the department, you will need to plan, deliver, and assess independently, so a thorough understanding of the Media Studies curriculum-including online media-is essential. The college have state of the art studios, editing suites and media facilities.
The Centre
The college has centres in Enfield, Tottenham Kings Cross, Camden, Finsbury Park, Victoria, Soho and Regents Park). It is one of the largest post-16 college groups in London. The college boasts a dedicated and experienced management and staff team and its excellent training and development programmes. The Centre operates mainly during term-time only and is easily accessible via public transport.
