Position: Senior Import/Export Clerk

Location: Slough

Job Type: Full-time - Office Based

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee multimodal transportation activities including air, sea & road.
• Ensure efficient routing and scheduling of shipments to optimize transportation costs and delivery timelines.
• Liaise with carriers, vendors, and clients to coordinate shipments and resolve any operational issues.
• Manage documentation, customs clearance, and compliance requirements for international shipments.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.

Requirements:

• Airfreight, Road freight and Customs experience required for mainly imports.
• Strong understanding of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective communication skills and a customer-centric approach.

The title is Import/Export Clerk but the focus is on air and road import as exports is minimal,cross training will be available.
