Packing Operative

We are actively recruiting for a Packing Operative in Witham, Essex. This is working for a large and successful logistics and distribution company who offer long term temporary opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a factory/warehouse environment (although full training will be provided for the right candidate) and a keen work ethic.

Packing Operative Duties:

• Assembly of kits
• Order Picking and Packing to a pick list
• Use of a hand-held scanning system
• Walking around the warehouse to collect orders
• Basic computer use and printing of labels
• Working in dispatch
• Assisting with final wrapping, ready for dispatch

The Ideal Packing Operative:

• Own transport would be an advantage but not essential
• Looking for an ongoing temporary role
• Great work ethic and willingness to learn
• Previous experience with hand scanner systems would be an advantage
• Able to read from a pick list
• Please be aware that this role could include some heavy lifting

Hours and Pay:

• Monday to Friday
• Full-Time
• 07:30-16:30 - early finish on Friday!
• 11.44ph
• Weekly Pay
• Holiday Pay
• Overtime available
• Temporary ongoing, potential to go perm for the right person
