Logistics, Inventory & Warehouse Manager (On-site)

Job Summary:We're seeking a dynamic Logistics, Inventory & Warehouse Manager to lead our clients expanding operation who will form part of the Site Leadership team and will report directly to the Head of Operations.This role is not only about managing day-to-day operations but also about driving organisational change, ensuring staff adoption of new technology, and embedding a culture of right first time & continuous improvement. The successful candidate will combine operational expertise with strong change management skills to deliver a seamless transformation.

Key Responsibilities:Change & Transition Leadership• Champion the move from manual processes to ERP-based scanner systems.• Lead change management initiatives, ensuring clear communication and staff buy-in.• Provide hands-on training, coaching, and support to warehouse and transport teams.• Develop new SOPs and workflows aligned with ERP capabilities.• Monitor adoption rates, identify resistance, and implement solutions.

Warehouse Operations:• Oversee daily operations including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch.• Improve efficiency, accuracy, and safety across all warehouse processes.• Optimise warehouse layout and implement best practices.

Inventory Management:• Achieve high inventory accuracy through ERP scanning and process controls.• Conduct cycle counts, audits, and root-cause analysis for discrepancies.• Drive continuous improvement in stock control processes.

Transport & Logistics:• Plan and manage inbound/outbound transport schedules both Nationally & Internationally• Optimise transport costs via route planning and load efficiency, including international freight (Air & Sea Exports to Far East & USA)• Ensure 3PL compliance with legal and safety regulations.

Leadership & Culture:• Build and lead a motivated team through change.• Create a culture of accountability, adaptability, and continuous improvement.• Foster collaboration across warehouse, transport, and IT/ERP support teams.• Report ERP transition progress and operational KPIs to senior management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):• ERP Adoption: % of warehouse processes executed via ERP scanners.• Staff Engagement: Training completion rates and user satisfaction with new system.• Inventory Accuracy: system vs. physical stock match.• On-Time Delivery (OTD): orders delivered on schedule.• Order Fulfilment Accuracy: % correct, error-free orders.• Transport Cost per Unit: Continuous year-over-year reduction.• Safety Performance: Zero major incidents/lost-time injuries.• Process Improvement: Measurable reduction in manual workarounds.

Requirements• 5+ years' experience in warehouse, inventory & transport management.• Proven success in leading system transitions or ERP implementations.• Strong ERP knowledge (Epicor Kinetic, or equivalent).• Expertise with handheld scanner-based inventory control.• Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills.• Knowledge of warehouse safety, shipping, compliance, and logistics regulations.

Preferred:• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.• Certifications in change management (e.g., Prosci, Lean Six Sigma), APICS, or CILT.• Experience driving cultural and technological transformation.
