Stores Person

Proactive Global Currently is looking for a Stores Person to join one of our established customers based in Park Royal.

Salary for the role: 30k per annum

Location: Park Royal NW10

Responsibilities:

• Goods In/Out: Manage the receiving and dispatching of products.
• BOM List Creation & Updates: Create and update Bills of Materials for stock and orders.
• Batch Numbering: Create and track batch numbers for inventory control.
• Certificates: Handle COAs and other material/certification paperwork.
• Document Scanning: Ensure documents are scanned and checked during the booking-in process.
• Desiccants: Manage the booking in and out of desiccants.
• Stock Control: Track cure dates and batch numbers to maintain proper stock rotation.
• Stock Reordering: Order parts based on minimum stock levels and production needs.
• Order Raising: Place orders for small items (RS/Farnell, etc.).
• Stock Checks & Valuation: Conduct regular stock checks and assist with year-end stock valuation.
• Quality Control: Raise quality issues and isolate affected stock.
• Forklift Operations: Operate counterbalance and reach forklifts as needed.
• NEPS Stock: Manage the NEPS stock to ensure accurate tracking.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous stores or warehouse experience, ideally in manufacturing.
• Quality Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO 9001:2008 or similar quality systems is a plus.
• System Skills: Comfortable with stock management systems (Orderwise experience a bonus) and Excel.
• Forklift License: Valid counterbalance and reach truck forklift certification.
• Organized & Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Communication: Comfortable working with suppliers, purchasing, and quality teams.
• Team Player: Ability to work well with others in a busy environment.
• Global Awareness: Some understanding of international supply chains is helpful.

• Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8 AM - 5 PM; Friday, 8 AM - 12:30 PM.
• Location: Park Royal, NW10, London (Onsite parking and good public transport links).
