We are the staffing partner to a brilliant international transportation business specialising in the logistics planning for TV & film sets.

As a Yard Operative you will manage the yard & coordinate in and outbound traffic effectively.

Duties of the successful Yard Supervisor Include:

• Manage the yard effectively communicating with in & outbound traffic
• Coordinating & allocating spaces within the yard
• Communicating clearly and effectively with all staff members & visitors to ensure a safe working environment
• Debrief drivers
• Complete defect sheets
• Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace

Required experience & characteristics of the successful Yard Operative

• Live within commutable distance to Slough
• Previous experience managing the yard for a busy logistics company is a massive advantage
