Mobile Refrigeration Engineer

A leading FM Organisation are currently looking for a Refrigeration Engineer to join a retail contract across the Leatherhead area. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, chillers, and HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting on refrigeration systems and components to ensure efficient operation.
• Conduct routine maintenance and system inspections to identify potential issues and ensure equipment reliability.
• Replace or repair worn components, such as compressors, condensers, and electrical systems.
• Adhere to safety standards and regulations, including refrigerant handling guidelines and environmental requirements.
• Maintain detailed service records, including documentation of repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
• Provide technical advice and recommendations to clients regarding upgrades or system improvements.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet project deadlines and service commitments.
• Stay up to date with industry advancements, new technologies, and regulations affecting refrigeration systems.
• Respond to emergency repair calls and provide on-call support as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Refrigeration Engineer or similar role in the commercial or industrial sector.
• Certification in Refrigerant Handling (F-Gas or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of refrigeration systems, components, and control systems.
