Pay Rates:

• Umbrella/Ltd: 30.17/hour

• Overtime & Weekend Rates Available

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Tiler/Floorlayer/Multitrade operative to join the team at Islington Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for laying non-slip flooring as part of day-to-day operations across council-maintained properties.

This is a hands-on role that requires skill, attention to detail, and experience working with safety flooring in a domestic or commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lay and repair non-slip safety flooring to a high standard.

• Carry out multitrade duties as required to support maintenance and refurbishment works.

• Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with relevant building codes.

• Work efficiently within a team and maintain good communication with supervisors and tenants.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in tiling and floorlaying (non-slip flooring essential).

• Multitrade skills (e.g. basic carpentry, plastering, etc.) are an advantage.

• Eligibility to work in the UK.

• Valid Photo ID and Criminal Convictions Declaration.

• Willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement and comply with the Islington Code of Conduct.
