Payroll & People Advisor Full-time Permanent Hybrid (1 day in office/week) Salary: £26,315 £30,959
The Role Seeking a detail-oriented payroll professional to manage high-volume transactions, resolve complex queries, and ensure accurate payroll processing. This role includes supporting user acceptance testing, advising on statutory legislation, and contributing to service improvements.
Key Responsibilities - Ensure accurate payroll data entry and processing.
- Resolve payroll queries within SLA timelines.
- Process statutory deductions (e.g., tax, NI, pensions).
- Compile employment contracts and support self-service.
- Conduct system testing and support service optimisation.
Requirements - Strong knowledge of HMRC absence legislation.
- Experience with tax, NI, pensions, and payroll systems.
- Confident in employment contract creation and UAT.
- Working towards or holding CIPP qualification desirable.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
