Your New Primary School

The successful applicant will be carrying out the professional duties of a teacher whilst undertaking any duties and tasks under the reasonable direction of the Principal and Assistant Principal to include:

•Planning and delivering lessons to pupils with communication and interaction needs
•Assessing and monitoring the specific needs of the pupils with SEN
•Working as part of a team to secure the best possible outcomes for pupils

What you will need to succeed

•Need previous experience working in a SEN provision
•Demonstrate knowledge of effective strategies to meet specific communication needs of pupils with significant SEND
•Able to plan lessons effectively for groups and all pupils
•Have strong subject knowledge in your own subject and also the ability to teach across other subject areas
•Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant undergraduate degree
•Eligibility to work in the UK
•Possession of a current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Hays
