Your Role:We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join our growing team at B. Braun.

In this role, you'll carry out on-site servicing and repairs of B. Braun Medical equipment - primarily infusion devices - at customer sites, including patient homes.

This is a field-based role where you'll be located in a specific area but with the flexibility to travel nationally when required - ensuring equipment is dependable and ready to support community healthcare.

Key Details:

Location: The ideal candidate will be located in or near Reading, Slough, or the wider Berkshire area, to ensure efficient coverage of the region.

Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site servicing and repairs of B. Braun provided medical products at customer sites, including patient homes.
  • Self-scheduling of planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on contracted equipment direct with customers.
  • Meeting key performance indicators, including repair turn-around times, PPM completion and uptime.
  • Providing accurate and detailed reports on all work carried out.
  • Developing relationships / partnerships with customers.
  • Proactively seeking to improve the processes and service provided by B. Braun Technical Services.

Please note that this position will include unsociable hours, frequent travel and overnight stays.

What you need to succeed:

  • Experienced and skilled in providing comprehensive technical repair and servicing.
  • Qualified to HNC or equivalent in Engineering (preferably Electronics).
  • A competent and experienced hands-on service engineer, with the ability to problem solve effectively and efficiently.
  • Flexible and self-motivated, with the ability to maintain and achieve service targets and deadlines.
  • A team player, with the ability to also work autonomously.
  • Empathy and professionalism - you'll be entering patients' homes, so a respectful and compassionate approach is essential.
  • Full UK driving licence.
