Job Requirements/Description

Are you a Service Administrator based in Sheffield looking for a new opportunity to ensure that the team of engineers are all organised, meeting deadlines and customer expectations? This position is a key to the team and a main point of contact for the field based engineers as well as customers. In return you will receive a salary of 25,000- 30,000, 25 Days holiday plus bank holidays and sick pay, Healthcare and so much more.

Responsibilities for the Service Administrator

  • Handling customer call-outs, logging emergencies, and updating on arrival times, delays, and job completion via phone and email.
  • Ordering materials and equipment from suppliers, managing collections, and ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Confirming job completion in the system for invoicing and following up on purchase order numbers.
  • Authorising supplier invoices and ensuring cost-efficient service planning.
  • Managing customer queries by phone, delivering excellent service.

Requirements for the Service Administrator

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Service Administrator or similar who has worked for an engineering, field base or manufacturing company
  • Excellent at workload management, prioritisation, and organisation.
  • Proficient in various IT systems and customer-specific platforms.
  • Knowledge of CRM, portals, and invoicing systems.
