Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mastic man/woman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying mastic sealants and adhesives in various construction and maintenance projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a combination of physical strength, technical skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Apply mastic sealants and adhesives to roofs, walls, and other surfaces as required.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning and priming before application of mastic.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed during the application process.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and within deadlines.
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills

• Proficient in masonry techniques and practices.
• Experience in carpentry is advantageous.
• Commercial driving experience is a plus for transporting materials.
• Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Ability to weld when necessary for specific projects.
• Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in construction.
• Experience working on roofs is preferred, with an understanding of safety measures involved.
• Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
