A dynamic and inclusive primary school in Islington is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team from February 2025. This full-time position is to cover a maternity leave on a temporary one-year contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Year 1 curriculum.
• Assess and track pupils' progress to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
• Create a positive and nurturing learning environment that supports academic and personal growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to enhance pupils' learning experiences.
• Contribute to the wider school community and participate in school events and initiatives.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching in UK primary schools, preferably in KS1.
• Strong knowledge of the Year 1 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• A commitment to fostering a love of learning in young children.
