Locum Occupational Therapy Deputy Manager - Social Care

Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist ready to step into a leadership role? We're seeking a proactive and motivated Deputy Manager to lead a dedicated Occupational Therapy team within a progressive adult social care service.

This hybrid role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to shape service delivery and outcomes across the community.

• Manage a team of therapists and customer support officers, overseeing daily operations and delegating workloads
• Triage new referrals and direct them to appropriate services
• Carry out telephone assessments for simple equipment provision to reduce referral pressure
• Respond to urgent equipment requests and coordinate timely interventions
• Support team development, inductions, and CQC readiness
• Supervise staff and contribute to service planning and quality improvement

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
• Experience supervising or managing within OT or social care
• Strong background in community-based or adult OT services
• Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
• Knowledge of social care legislation and strengths-based practice
