Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Geography to students at GCSE and A Level.
- Foster a positive learning environment that stimulates student interest and engagement.
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess, monitor, and report on the progress and attainment of students.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the faculty to enhance teaching practices and curriculum delivery.
- Participate in and contribute to staff meetings and professional development sessions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for Geography.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Geography at GCSE and A Level is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team of teachers.
- Commitment to professional development and reflective practice.
