Permanent Full time role based in Ipswich. Salary: up to £51,000 per annum, based on experience.

Our well established client are looking for a Head of Care to join their team on a permanent basis.

Main Purpose

Qualifications & Experience:

• A valid RGN nursing qualification
• Experience of managing a ward(s) or large nursing team effectively to meet the needs of the post fully.
• Experience and ability to lead, manage and inspire a team.
• Proven experience of managing complex and diverse care/rehabilitation services.
• Demonstrate relevant understanding of the challenges associated with working with people with an acquired brain injury and other long term neurological degenerative conditions.
• Mentorship in Practice (MIP) qualification or a willingness to undertake.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead on the quality and standards of care in line with CQC or relevant regulatory requirements. Oversee service delivery within budget, ensuring it meets agreed specifications and outcomes. Provide professional leadership to the nursing team, including recruitment, supervision, training, and clinical governance. Promote the nursing function internally and externally. Support the Service Manager and participate in the on-call rota.
