Operations Excellence Lead - London - £Competitive

We're looking for an Operations Excellence Lead to drive performance, stability, and continuous improvement within a pilot manufacturing environment for our client. This is a hands-on role, combining shopfloor involvement with the development of scalable systems and processes.

Operations Excellence Lead Key Responsibilities:

• Define and track manufacturing KPIs (yield, throughput, cycle time)
• Implement SPC and drive process stability
• Lead Lean initiatives (standard work, flow, waste reduction)
• Identify bottlenecks and deliver continuous improvement
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions
• Build visual management and performance systems

Experience required:

• Experience in operational excellence / continuous improvement
• Experience in biotech, life sciences, diagnostics, or medical device manufacturing
• Comfortable working cross-functionally and on the ground
• Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt)
• SPC and regulated environment experience
