Baggage Handler

Job Title: Baggage Handler - Gatwick Airport

Location: Gatwick Airport

Hours: Full-time or Part-time available (shift work, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and bank holidays)

About the Role:

We are looking for motivated and reliable Baggage Handlers to join our team at Gatwick Airport. This is a hands-on role, ensuring that passenger luggage is loaded, unloaded, and transferred safely and efficiently to keep airport operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading passenger baggage from aircraft.
• Transporting luggage between aircraft and the terminal safely.
• Operating equipment such as tugs, baggage carts, and conveyor systems (training provided).
• Ensuring luggage is handled with care and delivered to the correct location.
• Following strict airport safety and security procedures at all times.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS certificate (essential).
• Ability to pass Gatwick Airport security clearance checks.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks in all weather conditions.
• Good teamwork skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
• Previous baggage handling or aviation experience is an advantage but not essential.
