Electrical Test Engineer / Qualifying Supervisor

(Office & Site-Based Role - MUST hold NICEIC Certification)

Are you an experienced Test Engineer with a passion for quality assurance and a drive for excellence? We are currently seeking an Electrical Test Engineer / Qualifying Supervisor to join our team in a hybrid role that combines both office and site-based responsibilities. The ideal candidate will hold a valid NICEIC certification and be ready to take on new challenges to ensure the highest standards of quality.

Location: London and Home Counties
Position Type: Contract with potential to go permanent
Salary: 300 per day negotiable, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out commercial installations and testing.
• Lead and supervise testing and qualification processes, ensuring compliance with all technical specifications and industry regulations.
• Design, execute, and manage test plans for various products, systems, and components.
• Oversee and manage the qualification process, ensuring full adherence to NICEIC standards and other applicable regulations.
• Troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to ensure quality standards are met.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve product designs and ensure continuous quality improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all tests, results, and compliance records.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of quality and collaboration.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A current valid JIB gold card for a fully qualified Electrician.
• 2391 testing and inspection.
• NICEIC Certification is required.
• Must have your own transport.
• Proven experience in a Test Engineer, Qualifying Supervisor, or similar testing role.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
