An incredible opportunity has come to light within our fantastic client based in Woking! As Procurement & Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for a range of duties including, procurement, logistics, and stock management within the Events Team. This role involves overseeing warehouse operations, pre-and post-event packing, and logistics coordination. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and adept at supplier negotiations, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Source and purchase event-related items and merchandise.
  • Evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain ethical sourcing and quality control standards.
  • Follow tendering processes where applicable.
  • Develop and maintain a digital stock control system.
  • Monitor inventory levels and prepare reports.
  • Oversee pre-and post-event packing, stock counts, and damage reporting.
  • Manage warehouse operations and optimise storage solutions.
  • Track and manage procurement budgets.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
  • Coordinate logistics for event setups and material distribution.
  • Support the Events & Operations teams with procurement and stock needs.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 3-5 years' experience in procurement, logistics, or stock control.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with cost-control expertise.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with inventory management software and databases such as Microsoft Access.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of the non-profit or events sector would be highly advantages
