PCV Driver Attendant

Please Note - An Enhanced DBS two years experience required

Split shifts 7.00 am to 10.30am and 2.30 pm to 6.00 pm during school term time.

Key Responsibilities

• To drive a vehicle carrying passengers to and from a variety of locations.
• Provide an efficient driving service to passengers following instructions in a flexible manner to cover for planned and unplanned absence.
• Undertake driving duties of an allocated vehicle of 4-16 seats, using a high level of professionalism and in a safe and appropriate way, being sensitive to the needs of the passengers.
• Safely use the tail lift/ramp, as appropriate, to assist passengers on or off the bus/coach and associated wheelchair securing equipment.
  

Qualifications and Experience

• CPC, PCV Licences and Tacho card.
• Experience of working with people with disabilities.
  Experience of operating a tail lift/ramp safely and securing wheelchairs on the vehicle.
