Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with additional needs? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Tutor to join our supportive team at a specialist post-16 educational setting.

The Role

As a SEN Tutor, you will:

• Plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet the individual needs and EHCP outcomes of each student
• Support students' academic, emotional, and social development
• Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure a consistent and holistic approach
• Use a creative and flexible teaching style to engage learners with a variety of abilities and interests

What We're Looking For

We welcome applications from experienced SEN teachers or tutors with a strong understanding of post-16 education and additional needs. The ideal candidate will have:

• A level 2 or 3 qualification or be working towards one
• Experience working with learners with SEN, particularly in a post-16 setting
• A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
