Machine Setter Operator

We are looking for a Machinist to join a manufacturing company in Clacton on Sea. The company are a manufacturer of small components that are used within various industries.

The role on offer will be to work with a variety of cnc and manual machinery. You will need to have experience working with similar machinery or have worked within engineering or toolmaking.

Starting salary will be circa 16ph. Working hours will be 08:00-16:30 Monday to Thursday with a 15:30 finish on Fridays.

Duties include:

• Machining parts on mills and lathes
• Work from technical drawings
• Understanding of tool design & related software
• Sticking to strict health and safety guidelines
• Working with surface grinders
• Working on CNC machinery as well as manual machines
