As Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of financial management across a range of construction projects working closely with project teams and senior leadership to ensure commercial success, manage costs effectively, and mitigate risk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial aspects of projects to ensure profitability and contractual compliance.

• Prepare monthly valuations, final accounts, and cost reporting.

• Oversee cash flow forecasts, project retentions, and subcontractor procurement.

• Lead on change control and contractual notice processes.

• Collaborate with internal departments (Estimating, Pre-Construction, Design, Operations).

• Maintain and analyse cost/value reconciliations and forecast reports.

• Prepare and manage subcontractor accounts, tender allowances, and procurement packages.

• Ensure documentation, project files, and records are consistently up to date.

What We re Looking For:

• Degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related construction/commercial field.

• A minimum of 5 years experience in a Quantity Surveying role (full QS level).

• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of construction contracts (e.g., JCT).

• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cost management platforms.

• Confident communicator and strong collaborator with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
