QA Technician

Cranleigh STEM is working exclusively with an internationally recognised packaging consultancy business who are currently recruiting for a QA Technician, to join its team based near Epsom on a permanent basis.

As their QA Technician, you will be based in the Distribution Testing team which plays a crucial role in promoting sustainability by testing the performance of packaged products, including medical and food/beverage to ensure they are fit for distribution. This role combines hands-on testing with quality assurance administration, making it an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about quality and the physical sciences.

QA Technician responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date documentation for quality systems, procedures, and equipment calibrations.
• Plan and coordinate quality assurance activities within the Distribution Testing department.
• Foster a culture of continuous quality improvement across the team.
• Conduct testing activities to deliver an efficient service to customers and internal stakeholders.

QA Technician requirements

• Experience in quality assurance or quality administration.
• Familiarity with working in a quality system environment.
• Awareness of or involvement in auditing processes and practices.

• A qualification in quality assurance would be highly desirable/A-levels in a technical subject or an HNC/HND in a scientific or engineering discipline (or equivalent).
