We are looking for a dedicated Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage all commercial aspects from concept to completion within the highly successful Defence Sector team delivering global leading SMART building for the MoD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Management: Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and manage expenditures to ensure projects remain within financial constraints.
- Contract Administration: Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts with clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential financial and construction risks.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to legal standards and health and safety regulations.
- Reporting: Provide detailed reports on project progress, costs, and any variations to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in main contracting and traditional build environments.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Eligibility: MUST be a British Citizen and eligible for enhanced security clearance due to the nature of the project.
