R&D Testing Engineer (Battery)

A leading company specialising in scientific instruments, with a strong focus on applications in energy storage and battery technology is currently looking to hire a R&D Testing Engineer (Battery). The successful candidate will develop and execute rigorous testing procedures to ensure the performance, reliability, and quality of complex systems and components.

The R&D Testing Engineer (Battery) will:

• Conduct performance, reliability, stress, and failure analysis tests on mechanical, electronic, and software systems.
• Analyse and interpret test data, providing actionable feedback to the engineering team.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, protocols, and procedures for new and existing product designs.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Design and build custom test setups and fixtures as needed.

The R&D Testing Engineer (Battery) will have:

• Bachelor s degree in STEM field or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in testing within an R&D or product development environment.
• Proficiency in test instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and related tools.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing systems and scripting languages (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB).
• Strong communication skills for documenting and presenting test results.
• Familiarity with rapid prototyping and iterative design processes.
