Overview

My client is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure that buildings, plant, and equipment remain safe, reliable, compliant, and fully operational, while minimising downtime, risk, and cost across the workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver scheduled PPM and reactive maintenance across allocated sites.
• Work safely and follow all compliance and Health & Safety guidelines.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues.
• Accurately update and close jobs
• Assess and complete requests efficiently.
• Order and collect materials as needed for repair tasks

Job Related Skills

• General building fabric maintenance - e.g. Basic Joinery, Painting, Basic plumbing and minor floor repairs
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation.
• Fault finding on all types of machinery
• Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise to the business working on Heavy Industrial Machines.
• Liaise with onsite colleagues to understand related issues, responding confidently and accurately as required
• Identify issues beyond repair, undertake survey and escalate with recommendations.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to uphold site standards.
• Perform ad hoc duties as and when required
