Band 7/8a ICU Pharmacist - London - ASAP Start

We are seeking a dedicated Band 7/8a ICU Pharmacist to join our team and provide a high-quality clinical pharmacy service to our Adult ITU. You will play a vital role in supporting a range of clinical areas, including surgery, and work closely with medical teams to improve patient outcomes.

Key Details:

• Location: London
• Duration ASAP Start - Ongoing Contract
• Schedule: Full-time (Monday - Friday), 9am - 5pm w/ 30mins for lunch.
• Rate of pay: £30- £40 per hour dependant on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert clinical pharmacy services to Adult ITU, ensuring optimal medication management and safety.
• Participate in ward rounds, offering advice on treatment plans, and recommending necessary changes to prescribing.
• Coordinate all aspects of pharmacy input to intensive care prescribing.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

Requirements and qualifications required for this role:

• Current and valid registration with the GPHC as a Pharmacist
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience (essential).
• Some ICU experience is essential to the role.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with prescribers and other healthcare professionals.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
