Experienced Landscaper / Foreman

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Landscaper/Foreman to lead a team in delivering high-quality landscape construction projects. This role will combine site leadership and skilled landscape installation, suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, leading by example and has an excellent attention to detail. We cover all areas of Surrey, North Hampshire and areas of West Sussex.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working to a specification of works, managing a project and site from initial preparation to full completion. Varying projects to include, Driveways (aggregate, tarmac, block paving and resin-bound), Paving (natural stone, porcelain, block and clay pavers), Walling and steps (brickwork and natural stone), Fencing, Turfing and Garden Buildings. All works to be completed to a high standard, on time and within scope.
• Capable of working independently or leading a small team to deliver project.
• Liaise professionally with clients, supervisors and other trades on-site.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work site at all times.
• Operate hand tools, power tools and small machinery safely and effectively.
• Read and interpret landscape design plans and construction drawings.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years experience in the Landscape Construction Industry or similar trade.
• Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques and materials.
• Ability to read and follow construction drawings and specifications.
• Competent in the use of relevant tools and machinery.
• Good physical fitness and stamina for outdoor, hands-on work
• Valid driver's licence (manual preferred) - ability to get to various site locations in and around Surrey, North Hampshire and some areas of West Sussex

Desirable (but not essential):

• Qualifications in landscaping, horticulture or construction.
• Experience leading a small team
• CPCS card or machine operation tickets (e.g., excavator, dumper, roller)
